Multiply™ is produced and converted with a minimum of two ply’s of lighter weight papers having a combined weight equalling or surpassing that of the more ‘traditional’ one ply, heavier sheet, paper alternatives. The multiple paper layers within a Multiply™ roll, crease and fold as it is pulled from the roll centre, creating many layers of cushioned dunnage. Multiply™ avoids the associated stiffness and operator fatigue sometimes experienced with repetitive use with one ply, heavy paper. Heavier weight single-ply paper can make the packers shift repetition more arduous and demanding.

Multiply™ with its natural white finish provides an enhanced product appearance whilst still retaining 100% recycled, recyclable and biodegradable credentials.

Multiply™ is produced using a minimum of two ply’s of lighter-weight 100% recycled paper which is very readily available and is a product that has a historic ‘closed loop” recycling process, unlike the present brown papers where demand sometimes outstrips supply, disrupting the supply chain and production.

We commit to protecting goods in transit, supporting our environment using only recycled papers and aim to eliminate the real cost of damaged products in the logistics process!

Multiply™ by Kempack® have the ability to mix and blend a range of 100% recycled papers with different colours and weights and our goal is to protect products whilst being kind to the environment.

Centre fed rolls are supplied in a corrugated transit box which doubles as a simple but effective dispenser for use in your pick and pack operations. Alternatively, Kempack® can provide un-boxed rolls, applications will include both countertop and manual or electrically driven machine fed dispensers. Centre fed rolls are a great alternative to paper sheets; “butchers blocks” and are more flexible and efficient, resulting in a practical and simple workstation space, the centre fed rolls do not require 220v power allowing use in most areas of your facilities. Furthermore, by using various packing methods such as coiling, this will assist to help harmonise and replace other plastic alternatives such as bubble wrap or loose fill chips.

Standard, manual fed rolls are the ideal product for preventing migration with; ‘box in box’ secondary packaging when used as a ‘block and brace’ application. For heavier or sensitive products, rolling the material as a ‘coil’ when pulled from the centre of the roll offers good shock absorbing protection helping eliminate the cost of damage and returns.

Standard rolls are provided in a 70gsm weight format using 100% recycled wastepaper material. Experience tells us we have the best blend, avoiding high stiffness but whilst providing the correct level of protection.

Standard roll diameters are nominally 300mm, 350mm, 400mm and can be converted to unit lengths of 300 – 450 meters using imitation 100% recycled, kraft grades.

Shade and coloured grades are also available with varying roll lengths and paper weight options.

Why Kempack
Why Kempack

Why choose Kempack

E-commerce businesses predominantly use paper void fill for protecting their products in transit through the logistics process. Centre pull coreless rolls have become the default void fill medium via either manual or electric dispensers – often Multiply™ is pulled out directly from its transit box which also doubles as a simple but convenient dispenser.

Multiply™ by Kempack® is our latest void fill innovation, offering a premium system retaining the simplicity of center pull rolls but providing enhanced, in the box cushioning and protection, whilst being kinder to the operators offering less fatigue (RSI). Multiply™ center pull rolls are produced with a minimum of two ply’s of lighter weight paper, multiple layers creates a dunnage-spiral which has many more layers, creases and folds when compared to one ply, heavy paper alternatives as it is pulled from the coreless roll. Ultimately the crumpling and layers results in more cushioning depth which encapsulates small pockets of air in the folds. The net result is that the dunnage spiral offers superior cushioning and shock absorbing protection. Multiply™ is significantly more malleable for the packer and can reduce fatigue.

FAQs why Multiply

Yes, a preferred option by ecommerce and other industries alike, Multiply™ is easy to use, soft to touch, helping to remove packers fatigue, whilst protecting your valuable goods and products throughout the logistics. Multiply™ can assist in achieving consistent and high packing standards, ultimately reducing damages in the box.

Experience tells us lighter weight paper in Multiply™ which combines two ply's of 100% recycled paper is very malleable, acting as gentle shock absorption for your goods in transit. The easy use of the paper helps packers adopt techniques to best protect each individual product.

Multiply™ two ply, white paper is produced from waste paper; 100% recycled, 100% recyclable and biodegradable.Using recycled paper our products compost and biodegrade quickly versus pure kraft options, helping to protect the environment.

Multiply uses 100% recycled material and is available from surplus wastepaper sources as a result in consumer changes. Therefore our Multiply is a better environmental option versus standard brown papers which due to popularity have overwhelmed the supply chain. With a secure supply chain there are no disruptions, we can maintain supply, limiting fluctuations

Used correctly paper is a more cost effective option. Plastic packaging such as airbags are inefficient as a product migration option versus paper which can be used to better effect, by using less material you will reduce your inbox cost. Paper has better memory properties and will often give better protection, by reducing damages consumers will save on the real cost of a damaged product.
